The IOC has established a total quota of 6,000 total “E” (Press) Accreditations for Tokyo 2020, which have been distributed by National Olympic Committees to press organisations in their country. Press accreditation for the Olympic Games is allocated only to media professionals.

World Sailing as a Federation receive an allocation of Sports Specific Media Accreditations for press and photographers.
