The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Sailing Competition will see 350 athletes from 65 nations race across the ten Olympic disciplines. Enoshima Yacht Harbour, the host venue of the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Sailing Competition, will once again welcome sailors from 25 July to 4 August 2021.

470 Men: Technique and Tactics

To succeed in the 470 Men’s class, you need a strong tactical mind and the technique to back it up. The physicality and skillsets of the sailors has changed in recent years but the leading contenders have adapted. For most of the past five years since Rio 2016, the fight for 470 supremacy has swung back and forth between three men’s teams – the Swedes, the Spanish and the Australians. Expect them to battle it out once again at Tokyo 2020.
